Well worth the money

Fantastic views with a good schedule. Richard was a really good tour guide and very funny. Only downside was the travel vehicle, not really convenient for taller people. Can recommend strongly

Get out of Dublin for the day!

The small group size was comfortable. Having lunch at Power Court was a bonus even though we didn't sign up for it. Stopping at the horse ranch twice was not so great. Seeing so much tree devastation was a bummer too. Everything else was nice.

Hi Connie thank you very much for the very positive review. I don't know why you visited the horses twice. I'll let the guide know.

Johnny the tour bus driver and guide was informative, funny, and provided keen insights into the places we visited. He brought a genuine passion to the experience. And his insights and stories about the places we visited were ones you want to share with everyone you know. My wife and I, son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids, 15 and 11 years old all had a fabulous time. Sláinte

Gillian led our small group through the narrow lanes and into the Wicklow mountains on a rainy foggy day. And it was glorious. Her stories and educational talks gave us wonderful perspective to the area.

Great day trip with Jonny

Jonny was an absolute legend and made the day that much more enjoyable with the stories and jokes he told. Wicklow mountains is beautiful and we’re very glad we chose to book this day trip instead of just visiting Dublin during our stay. Would 100% recommend and the stories about the mountains and monastic city tie in very well with the Guiness storehouse and Book of Kells tours.

Fun day spent in Wicklow

I just did the small group with guided walk with Richard. Thankfully the weather cooperated with us and only sprinkled a bit as we left Powerscourt after our lunch stop. Powerscourt was a change on the itinerary as it was a location that could serve our small tour group. The morning guided walk was good! Not too strenuous but lots to see. Richard provided great commentary and insights to the area. Sadly a large portion of the area had been damaged in a wildfire, which Richard explained why it was as bad as it was. Enough time was given for lunch and the scenic drive through the Sally gap was picturesque. As I had seen the monastic village at Glendalough I opted to walk to the upper and lower lakes for some photos. Had enough time to get there and back to use the restrooms and get a coffee for the way back to Dublin. This is a fantastic way to spend the day outside of Dublin, getting fresh air and seeing gorgeous scenery. There are some gentle inclines during the guided walk, so keep that in mind if physical activity is limited for you

Wicklow and Glendalough with Richard!

We had a great day exploring the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough! Stops also included Guinness Lake and the P.S. I Love You Bridge. Our tour guide Richard was great, he was very knowledgeable of the area and it’s history. Will definitely recommend to all friends and family who come to Ireland in the future!

Hike is only for the VERY physically fit

If you are over 40 years of age, train for a month before this hike! Johnny was great but the pace was very fast hiking Wicklow until noon and no time to stop for photos. I was out of breath most of the time trying to keep up with the young runners in the group. After our lunch break, the tour was much more relaxed and enjoyable. Good job, Johnny

Hi Debbie, I would not think the walk is very demanding and Johnny is in his 60s. Thank you for taking the time to leave the wonderful review and I'm delighted you enjoyed the tour.
