Next, make a stop in Belfast for free time to walk around and shop. Before the relaxing ride back to central Dublin you have the option to tour by taxi (own expense) with a local guide to explain the city's troubled political past during decades of conflict.

Worth it - great day trip to Northern Ireland
, Dec 2021
Great day getaway without having to personally drive! It's an early start and long day but worth it. Guide was personable and shared historical tidbits. Giant's Causeway was great, went during low season, little crowds.. Recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes & pack a lunch!

Great tour!

Mac was an AMAZING tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and North Ireland, kept us entertained the entire day, and was so personable. For a 12 hr day, it went by so quickly because he made it so fun! Highly recommend
Excellent views, tour guide left much to be desired.

The tour was absolutely beautiful but I had a terrible experience with the driver Philip. He was angry that a member of the tour company had put me in contact with him through his personal email. I needed to ask some specific details about the itinerary before the trip and he was upset that his personal email had been provided. He was wholly inappropriate and sought out my mother and I on more than one occasion to continue his tirade. I had only emailed him on the one occasion and never planned to email him again. The tour company gave me his email willingly and I never asked for his personal information. I was just working with what was given to me and was very upset and shocked by his behavior.

Lovely trip through wonderful locations
, Nov 2021
Amazing day around North Ireland. Our guide, Henry, was a really funny driver which explained very well all the Irish history, from Norman invasion to the Troubles. Simply lovely!
Stunning sites!

Stunning view and we were glad we took this tour. However, it was during corona time and we were shocked that the tour guide didn’t check the vaccinations certificate. That was not okay.

This tour was and still is advertised to include a visit to the Carrick-a-Rede Bridge. The tour company IRISH DAY TOURS does NOT tell you that they have discontinued this part of the tour. When we booked this tour the cost was $180 usd. By the day of the tour they were charging $130 usd. When we asked for a price adjustment we were refused. The tour was a disappointment and we would definitely not recommend it to any of our family or friends.

I had such an amazing time! I absolutely loved our tour guide that touched on Irish folklore as well as different pieces of Irish History ! Seeing the Giant’s Causeways was just an incredible experience along with the dark hedges! I don’t know if I could pick a favorite moment even if I tried. Everything was just so wonderful !
More time on Belfast
, Jul 2021
We would have been better not to do the Dark Hedges and have time in Belfast. The weather didn’t cooperate which was a bummer and not the fault of the tour. Lots of Bus riding but we did get to see Northern Ireland!
No go
