Greet your guide at a central Dublin location and climb aboard a luxury, air-conditioned coach destined for County Kildare. Gaze at the rolling green hills of the Irish countryside, and listen to commentary from your guide as you go.

After passing through picturesque areas like County Tipperary and County Kildare, arrive at the ancient fortress of Blarney Castle, famed for one of Ireland’s best-loved treasures, the Blarney stone. Ascend to the castle’s tower to kiss the Blarney stone and receive, according to legend, the skill of speaking in a charming and eloquent manner.

Travel onward to Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. Hear the legends that surround the imposing twin towers of the cathedral and take a guided tour of the structure’s Hall of Vicars and Cormac’s Chapel, home to the oldest Romanesque wall painting in Ireland.

Return to the coach for the journey back to Dublin, where the tour concludes.

Great sights; a lot of bus riding
Alan_N
, Jun 2022
Loved the scenery and castles. It’s a lot of driving, so prepare to sit a lot. We didn’t have a lot of time at Blarney given the wait in line and all we could have experienced. There is no tour guide, just a bus driver, so you explore on your own except for the third castle. It’s well worth it if you don’t mind a lot of driving.

Shorted Most anticipated Excursion cut short for non-paying passengers from canceled tour

Bus left an hour late, first we were told we had to watch the bus ahead of us for 15 minutes because driver stepped away. After an hour 7 empty seats were filled for free by people whose tour was canceled. Our time at Blarney cut short for the delay. Very disappointing. Someone puked on bus, no cleaning supplies, no air freshener. I had wires and spray hand sanitizer - another passenger forced to sign where she puked. ALL had to remain on bis during this. Tour guide/driver was AMAZING. I think it's great tours cared to fox others canceled trips but not at the expense of paying customers who didn't get to experience all of Blarney and Cork. Many couldn't even eat after wait times through Blarney Stone. 2 years trip.was planned our trip.should not have been shortened for whatever the issue you had with the other tour. While we loved not driving and the tour guide. I would not recommend Blarney on your tour unless ample time is made for all of Blarney Castle, gardens, shopping, food and seeing Cork. Skip Cahir Castle and allow time at Blarney

Blarney castle tour

Zero stars. This tour was canceled by Irish day tour without telling the group. We all waited an hour before we were able to get in touch with the company. Only then we’re we notified it was canceled due to technical difficulties. They nicely rescheduled us for a later day in the week. However the same thing happened, no bus came for the group. I have yet to be contacted that the tour was canceled. Would be very cautious booking this tour and would call the company directly to confirm.

Driver never showed up. Stood at meeting spot for 2 hours with no word. Last day of trip and couldn’t rebook anything. Terrible customer service. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

My Favorite Day in Ireland
Binu_C
, Jun 2022
I absolutely enjoyed all three stops. I would highly recommend this tour. We met at the Molly Malone statue-be aware that several different tour groups use this as a meeting point. First stop was the Rock of Cashel which is just breathtaking including the views. Second, the famous Blarney Castle. I took part in the tradition of kissing the stone-don't worry, a worker guides you as you drop gently backwards to kiss the stone while holding metal bars and they sanitize the area after each person. I was so pleasantly surprised by the magical garden. We could have spent the entire day there, there was so much to see. We ate lunch in the Blarney village. We got a guided tour at Cahir Castle and it was absolutely fascinating and the guide was adorably enthusiastic. Overall, great tour. Plenty of bathroom breaks and I loved the Irish music playing on the bus and the information provided.

OK but rushed visit to main attraction.

We visited Blarney from Dublin and by the time we got there we only had an hour and a half to visit. One hour of this time was spent queueing to kiss the stone so we weren't able to walk round the gardens or look at the woollen Mill beside it. Felt like a very rushed trip.

This was a fun trip! Not only did we go to blarney castle, but we stopped at a few on the way there and back! Our driver and guide was super friendly and funny, making the bus ride more entertaining! Plenty of time was given at each stop so we could thoroughly explore all.

The Cahir castle was my absolute favorite - it was nice seeing the history of the sites. My only complaint is ac on bus was faulty and the ride was hot and uncomfortable. Aubrey the tour guide was apologetic and kept us entertained!

Great day trip. Length of time at each stop is acceptable. Good amount of time at Blarney with less at each of the stops. Cahir castle was a surprising highlight: the local guide was great. Driver/guide was knowledgeable and friendly

Blarney Castle, Cashel Rock, Cahir Castle

Trip to Blarney was great, Castle grounds are beautiful. Worth going even if you’re not kissing the Blarney Stone. If you are going to head all the way to the top of the Blarney castle to kiss or at least see the stone, you must be in fairly good shape, and not claustrophobic. It is a very steep, uneven, narrow stairway to the top, which has ropes instead of rails to assist you as you ascend to the top. Going down is much easier. But definitely worth it if you can do it. Rock of Cashel was also beautiful and the Cahir Castle was informative. Barry the bus tour operator was very informative.

Bud our coach driver was fantastic! Very friendly, personable and funny man that truly enjoys what he does. Hope to have him again the next time I take a tour. The castles are amazing! The countryside was gorgeous. Well worth the ticket price and time invested. Did not feel like a 13 hour tour.

A Must When Visiting Ireland
Maureen_H
, May 2022
This Tour had more walking than expected. The bus driver was pretty new & there was no other guide so the commentary not as good as other tours (ie:Belfast experience) however if you want the Blarney Stone experience this fits the bill. Scenery along the way was lovely & there were enough stops for relief & refreshments.
