We got rebooked on a promising tour to Breckenridge after the rocky mt national park tour was canceled due to the wildfires. When we arrived for the tour we were excited for the day ahead but into our second stop the tour guide told us when they were leaving denver they found out at 10am (tour departture time) there was an accident on way to Breckenridge. He then tried to persuade us to do another option to a place with very low visibility or go back to denver because he said we would "sit in traffic for 2 hrs or more". When we checked on Google maps and waves there was no accident anymore it cleared but there was a 21 min traffic delay. After wasting 30 mins on what to do as a group we decided to continue to Breckenridge to his dissapointment. We then heard him tell someone on the phone we were going as planned but we couldnt do the hike bc we didnt have snow boots. However when we started the tour he said it was an easy walk and we all had proper sneakers on. He obviously didnt want to go to Breckenridge and wanted to cut the trip short. We only got 21 minutes of traffic and were 50 mins delayed mostly because of time wasted on him trying to persuade us not to go. We were supposed to arrive to Breckenridge at 145 accorindg to him but arrived at 245pm. Once we arrived we wasted more time on him trying to take us to a restaurant to eat rather than taking us on the hike. We wanted quick food not a sit down restaurant. Then he says we only have an hr to see Breckenridge and so we tell him we dont want to waste time waiting for a table at a restaurant and rather just go on our own and walk around since we had to leave by 410pm. I have gone on many viator tours and most of rhem we tend to be 30 mins to hr delayed because of unexpected traffic etc. It was obvious tour guide just wanted to get home by a certain time rather than give us littlw more time to get our moneys worth. He could have said you have til 5pm and we can do a 45 min hike too but instead we had to leave earlier than 1.5 hrs it would take to get back to denver. We even arrived back earlier than 6pm. The highlight was he dropped us off at our hotel. Overall very dissapointed on the tour. Felt like we just went to eat lunch at Breckenridge rather than see anything. A 30 min delay arriving back for most tours is no biggie. The tour guide should rethink his job since i dont think this is his thing.

Our tour guide was Paul, he was amazing! He is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable with the entire group you are touring with. He took us to all the places listed on the tour plus a couple of stops that were just absolutely beautiful. He made sure to explain every place as we drove by it. My wife and I extremely enjoyed this tour especially the crepes from Breckinridge but if you come in during cooler weather make sure to bring a heavy jacket because it gets chilly!

Length of time in Breckenridge should have been shortened due to gondola ride to mountain closed. No good restaurants. Guide very good.
