The tour itself was great, food wonderful, and guide exceptional. When the literature says be early so the tour leaves on time. Please stick to it. We stood around waiting for a group to “mosey on over “ they weren’t lost, or having an emergency. They just didn’t care.

Informative tour

Carli was very knowledgeable about the history of Chicago as well as the food that we sampled. However, the beer that was charged to us which we were not aware of until the tour operator called us and asking for a payment that was considered an “upgrade “ to the tour was way over priced. $20 plus tax for a small glass (6-8 oz)is outrageous. Then the other restaurant that served the Italian beef served complimentary beer ?!?!?

Awesome trip, informative and full of food!

What a great trip, everyone was so helpful! It started with us being late because we were waiting at the wrong restaurant and were 25 minutes away. Fortunately, it was deep dish pizza first so it was just about being served when we finally arrived. From then on we had a great time with a great guide, no rushing, plenty of information and some more great food culminating with a donut just around the corner from our hotel. Just one word of caution when you book: check the address of where you should meet rather than just the restaurant name because there may be more than 1!!!
