Join tour] Sightseeing + Pha Dok Siew Trekking in Doi Inthanon National park

This tour covered everything I wanted to see in the hills above Chiang Mai. It started with a ~2 hour hike through a jungle area with lots of stops at waterfalls and rice and flower fields and any interesting animal we saw. We had a pretty large range of fitness in our group and Tee (our guide) did a great job of keeping the pace reasonable for everyone in the party. He was also a really fun (and funny!) guide who had lots of fun tidbits about the area. The hike ends in a Karen village area with a bathroom and some coffee. Then it was off to a quick market stop and lunch. In the afternoon we went to the highest point in Thailand which was in a really beautiful area of the park. After that, we stopped and King/Queen Pagoda (make sure you bring temple-appropriate clothing!) for some more exploring. We got caught in some pretty serious rain, but most people hid out in the gift shop while my friend and I got soaked running back! Finally, there's a pretty quick stop at a large waterfall before heading back into town. One last thing to note, the road to/from is pretty windy so I'd recommend preparing for some motion sickness. I don't usually get sick and even I felt a bit queasy. Side note - if you're into getting that perfect shot for the 'gram, try requesting Tee. He is ALL about getting the perfect photo with the best lighting and all the right angles. Overall, I think this is a really nice tour for all ages, activity levels, and all tour types and would recommend it to anyone.

This was a great trip. We went in rain season so the pergolas were impossible to see. Also no waterfall swimming as it’s still rain season and the waters were to high so was a bit annoying to carry towels etc when not needed but apart from that it was a great experience. “Gin tonic” was a fabulous guide and really knowledgable about the area. We had some delicious food and coffee in the local village after the walk. This trip I’d definitely worth the money.

Gintonic was such a hilarious and wonderful tour guide--- we had a blast! The only downside was the time of year we did the trip. We couldn't swim in the falls because the water was too high and fast. At the top of Doi Inthanon it was very cloudy and we couldn't see anything :/ However, our guide made the most of what we had and we still had a nice time!! I would think twice about booking in August if you'd really like to swim and see the colors of Doi Inthanon; we heard December-February is the best time to visit.

Guide très sympathique, le tour correspond à la description, le tout bien organisé (prise en charge à l hotel, visites, repas etc...) Le temps nous a été laissé à chaque visite sans être pressé. Un peu déçu de la randonnée, plusieurs groupes se suivent, cela perd de l intérêt, et donne plus une impression de trecks "à la chaine". Le côté" sauvage" et nature recherché ne correspondait pas à un treck plus authentique. Cela n'est qu un ressenti personnel, tout s est très bien déroulé, nous avons passé tout de même une agréable journée.

Si tienes poco tiempo y no te puedes hacer un trekking de varios días, te puedo asegurar que esta es la mejor opción. Calidad precio no hay nada mejor, eso si... Pide que tu guía sea Yin. Supo como integrar a todo el grupo para que pasaramos un gran día. La comida fue muy buena y el conductor excepcional (no me acuerdo del nombre)
