See and here the history within Charleston that we would not have seen on our own. Mansions, College, Citadel, etc

Very disappointing

Well right when we loaded on the bus a storm came through and it was pouring down rain. It did let up as we started the tour. The rain was not the problem. The problem was some of the streets were flooded and the tour bus driver kept avoided certain streets because of the water and the whole time she was “narrating” she kept saying “ok look to your left, look to your right” depending on what side of the bus you was sitting on you couldn’t see what she was even pointing out or talking about. I felt like all we kept doing was going around in circles and she was pointing out different flowers on peoples properties. There was really Nothing interesting on the whole trip!!! Would definitely NOT recommend this tour.

Rude guide.
Brittany_C
, May 2022
While the tour was interesting and took us to great locations. The tour guide was incredibly rude. We were scolded for talking. We were whispering about our own family heritage in the city and we’re called out for needing to share with everyone because our conversation was more important than her information. We were not being loud or noticed. It ruined the experience for us.

Brandt_L
, Apr 2022
The type of bus you use greatly limits the view of sights the driver/tour guide is pointing out if your sitting on a isle seat. From my seat I only saw whatever was at street level. Often points of interest where pointed out as we where passing making it impossible to get any pictures. Driver did his best to narrate the tour while negotiating heavy traffic and general congestion. A difficult job for anyone.

Our driver and tour guide Bonnie was very informative. We learned about the different neighborhoods and famous historical sights. The bus is small which makes more intimate and easier to listen. I definitely recommend to any first time tourist in town
