I booked this service for $12 US and I was very satisfied with the service we received. Upon arrival at the airport, a young lady was holding a sign with our names displayed. She then confirmed our departure date and time, before escorting us to our ride. When we were taken to our transportation, I was hesitant to enter as it was a very large empty van and I did not want to wait for it to be filled with other passengers. The employees explained that this very large van was only for us. It was a large Mercedes van with nice leather seats, air conditioning, and extremely elegant for the $12 US that I had spent. I was pleasantly surprised at the deal. Once inside the van I counted 19 passenger seats!! Similar to an airplane style seat!! Basically, we were very comfortable for the ride. Our driver, Ivan Valencia, was great!!! He was extremely polite and professional. Upon arrival at our hotel, he provided us with his phone number and agreed to pick us up for a quick transfer to the marina later that evening. He showed up on time and was once again very professional. Overall we were very pleased with the value and service that we received from Corona Tours and Ivan Valencia!!!

As the host of the trip I sent a few messages saying half of the group missed their connection anf had to come today on the 18th and if we could get a partial refund so the ones who already paid wouldnt have to pay again. They told me NO that we would have to order and pay again. So they didnt try to work with us on something out of our control

Per our package we were supposed to get an English speaking driver - did not get one. The bus was old and outdated. The rear windshied wiper fell off and the driver had to stop the bus to fix it. It was clean inside and air conditioned. The driver did not know how to get to our hotel...he had to stop to ask for directions twice.

I was a little nervous about booking, because the reviews were mixed. I took a chance, and glad I did. There was plenty of communication. I booked and added extra time in case of long line at customs. My flight was delayed and I was able to communicate with Jose. There was Jose's coworker with a sign waiting for me. And that took a lot of ease off of me, with finding a reliable taxi.

It was a bit chaotic in trying to find the representative outside the airport. The car was not there and had to wait 20 minutes or so for it to arrive. The car was comfortable. The driver was quiet, but made it safe to the hotel. I recommend better signage for visitors to better locate the rep as the sign was hand written with no company logo.

As soon as I was able to get mobile service I messaged our driver. He said he was outside. I kept him up-to-date as we went through immigration, baggage etc. Get outside and cannot find my name to locate my driver. I message and do not hear back. Find my name and on a long list of names and the woman said she would call a driver and put us in queue. I was originally told for the fee of $30 USD the driver would be waiting. I wait another 15-20 minutes and no car. When I inquired again she said 5 minutes. Waited, no car. For $6 a taxi immediately took us to our hotel. Still waiting on refund!

Unfortunately, the trip back to the airport wasn’t as seamless as it was from the airport. There was no communication prior to the pick-up, so I wasted a lot of my last moments in Cartagena trying to make sure we had a ride and didn’t miss our plane. The ride was pleasant, but ensuring I had one was a little unorganized.
