Tulum and Cenotes Tour

I have used Viator for several years without any problem. Tulum and Cenotes tour was a fiasco I needed to cancel (yes, it was before the 24 hour period)but could not get anyone to answer the phone. I left messages on all numbers on the voucher print out. I also emailed. They answered the following day. He persuaded me to reschedule for the following day. They had my email address and phone number. They showed up for pick up 40 minutes early and left us. I called to request a refund and all he would do is say we can reschedule. No way! I ended up renting car, driving to Tulum, and also stopped at Cenote Yax-kin, went for a swim, it was lovely. I am still trying to get a refund, when I call they hang up on me! I emailed several times. I spoke to Viator at length they called the tour operator and again, they hung up on them. I will be disputing this charge with my Visa. I am unsure if I will use Viator in the future.

Edwin is awesome!!! He was so attentive and looked after us. He was also very informative at Tulum. Amazing trip.

Visiting Tulum was such a cultural experience. Roaming around the archaeological site and learning about the history was beautiful. The cenotes were a site i will never forget. Luis our travel guide was awesome and informative.

Nothing. The description for time was way off so we couldn’t do it. Said approximately 5-6 hours 1.5 hour drive there 3 hours there and 1.5 hours back but then was actually going to be 10-11 hours and we had other plans that day so we couldn’t go. I definitely will not be using this company again or recommend them.

Our tour guide Sandro was the best!!! He was hilarious and very passionate. He made sure we were all comfortable and engaged throughout the day- I give him 5 stars. Overall though I would give 4 stars not 5 only because they did not pick me up from my Hotel. I had to take a taxi to another Hotel and pay taxi fees to that hotel and back. Sandro helped us find a taxi and made sure we got a decent price for it!

The best your guide ever RUTH 69 ! Ruth was amazing we had such a blast in Tullum seeing the ruins , learning about the Mayan cultural. Getting a fresh coconut to drink around the ruins . Swimming in the cenote and the Lunch was amazing ! So delicious authentic meal .

If I give zero stars I would. The van service never came to pick us up. When I called to inform the driver is late. The excuse was the driver will be there in 10 mins. I called about three times with the same excuse. I called again because it’s pass an hour no one answered the phone calling more than 6 times. Another tour guy from a different company tired to call me for to if anyone picks up no one answered. I believe this agency is scam to get your money. I requested a refund. Please don’t waste your time. If your staying at Sandos Playacar I’m sure they will do it to you. Beware of this company. Smh

Our tour to Tulum and the Cenotes was amazing! Our tour guide, Luis, was awesome. He was very informative and funny! He gave us lots of advise on where to eat and buy stuff so we wouldn’t over pay. Follow the advise given in the emails…they cover everything you need. We would 1000% do this tour again! Thank you, Luis!

This tour was so fun and informative. I was picked up from Yucatan area so the ride was not that far. Keep in mind, the further you are from Tulum the longer it may take to get there. The time frame of the excursion is an ESTIMATE. Our tour guide Luiz and his team was nothing short of a good time. They cracked jokes, explained to us about the Mayan culture, shared some interesting facts and taught us how to say TOLUM the correct way. The cenotas was nice and secluded and we were able to get blessed by a REAL Shamin. I enjoyed myself! Take the tour and experience the Mayan Culture.

Tried to find a half day tour to Tulum and this excursion seemed to fit the bill in the description: see Tulum and a cenote, leave Cancun at 8am, 5-6 hrs in length. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We were picked up at 7:25am and returned to the hotel after 6pm. Now that the negative is our of the way, the tour of Tulum was great (though very hot!). Marco, our tour guide did a great job of describing some of the details and significance of the ruins. He also gave us time to explore on our own - though I would have loved to have him guide and describe throughout our entire time since the info he shared was so interesting. The cenotes tour was even better. Swimming through underground caves. Learning of the ancient Mayan rituals. It was fantastic.
