Best cultural experience!

The Professor, Miguelito, y Miguel we’re fantastic! The bus ride to Chichen Itza was smooth and The Professor spoke about the history and culture and religion of the Mayan people. we stopped at a cute Blue Agave tequila farm for snacks before we got to Chichen Itza. Itself was beautiful and the guided tour was a fantastic hour. We had another hour of free walking around time. Word to the wise- bring both sunscreen and a cheap rain poncho. The downpour made the temple experience really magical. Next stop was lunch and the buffet was awesome with traditional Mayan food as well as some spaghetti for our pickier friends. Food was included but beverages weren’t. From lunch, the cenote was steps away where you can swim or just take pictures. You will need to rent a life jacket and possibly a locker. After 2 hours for lunch and the cenote, we went to Valladolid for a quick snack and walk before a 2.5 hour bus ride back to Cancun! This tour is fantastic and let’s you experience the culture of Maya and you really should book it! You won’t regret it.

This was such a great day trip. The bus was a comfortable and clean, the guide, Tino was funny and there was enough time at all the locations to really enjoy ourselves. The kids didn't like the heat, but swimming in the cenote made up for it. Lunch was authentic and delicious. So glad that we booked this trip. My 15, 13 and 8 year old were impressed.

Ok .. but look out what is really included

The experience was good because the weather was good but the tour itself was messed up because of the tour operators not being able to manage their logistics properly. We were a family of 4 and we were pushed around from one bus to another from pick up to actual tour bus and then from that bus we were pushed to another bus because there wasn’t enough space on that bus. Finally when they say all-inclusive they still continue to nickle and dime us for water while having lunch. Senote is included but u cannot do senote without life-jacket and for the life-jacket it is additional 40 pesos and u need to take a locker to keep valuables which is additional 40 pesos. The locker part can be completely avoided but the bus guys are in bed with the resort guys and hence encourage us to carry everything outside.

The guide was very knowledgeable and had a lot of really great information about the sites we were seeing. The cenote was AMAZING! Really refreshing after a long day. I would highly recommend bringing your own snacks since the bus ride is pretty long and you won’t get food until at least 6 hours in.

Awesome tour and great way to knock out 3 amazing spots in one day. The day was long but well worth it. I heard other people talking about spending 3times the price we paid. I would highly recommend.

I loved hearing about the Mayan culture and calendar. The food and cenote were excellent. I can’t believe how beautiful the cenote is! Our tour guide, Ruth, was funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They give water before and/or after every stop. Keep in mind you need additional money for the Chichen Itza, drinks in the buffet, life vest and lockers for the cenote, and tip (optional).
