Freedom Tour was Phenomenal!
, Sep 2021
Our guide was phenomenal! A walking encyclopedia of Boston area history and made it fun with his humor. We had a large group, however, he engaged everyone and projected his voice so we had no problem hearing him. This tour is a must for tourists visiting the Boston area.
Perfect Tour of Boston Freedom Trail

Perfect tour for those visitors on-the-go in Boston. Easy to book. Easy to find. On time and easy pace. Expert and entertaining guide who loves history and the city. We finished a little after noon and our guide was nice enough to recommend good eats in the area. Short walk to a historic tavern and best clam chowder and lobster roll we’ve ever had. Thanks to Viator and our guide for great detail and reliable fun.
If Your Tour Guide is a NO Show, Viator Will Not Offer a Refund. Good Luck Calling.

Our tour guide was a no show, you "said" you approved our refund, but we have yet to see it. You may have the worst customer service known to man.

Hello Beth, On the rare occasion that a tour is cancelled we will refund your entire payment, and also offer a digital gift card to reschedule to any other tour for free. It's rare that we cancel a tour, but when it happens we do everything we can to help our guests. Please contact me directly at: We want to look into this to make sure you receive your refund, and also fix this for future guests. Our records show that you were notified, have been refunded in full, and that we sent over a free gift card to reschedule if you see fit. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this and fix this for you.

Guide had a great sense of humor relating historical facts. He brought life centuries ago alive. Articulate and tour well paced. Fifty is too many and times we could not hear him.

Great tour! I highly recommend it! Our guide was full of great historical info! We went in tour and made reservations at the Union Oyster House in Faneuil Hall for lunch where the tour ended. It worked out perfectly!

Great shorter version of Freedom Trail. About 2 hours, great guide. Take this tour! Extremely knowledgeable guide, funny, this was excellent
Fun and A Great Learning Experience
, Sep 2021
I enjoyed the little anecdotes about history that you couldn’t read in a history book, especially stories about some of the people who lived during those times.
No customer service at all! Don't book if you expect to get help or direction or input for the manager of your tour.

We have no memories, because we were not given the tour we booked and paid for. We had an emergency in the parking garage and were running late.Called the number provided, woman said couldn't help she did not work w Boston events, only salem??? Tried the visitor center and left word and my return phone- no call back,no tour, no refund😒.

We are sorry to hear that you had an emergency in a parking garage and missed your tour. Unfortunately, we need to keep our tours and other guests on schedule and depart on time despite your late arrival. When a guest is running late, we can offer two options: 1. Guests may still meet their guide giving a brief introduction behind the Visitor Center. If a guest is running less than 5 or 10 minutes late, this is a great option. 2. If a guest is running more than a few minutes late we offer to switch your tickets to the next tour. Although we cannot guarantee that a later tour will still fit into your schedule this is offered at no additional charge. The Boston Common Visitor Center is not our company. That building is operated by the Greater Boston Convention & Visitor Bureau and they do not provide customer service for tours. There is a chance you will not hear back from them. Instead, we advise that you contact us directly so that we can assist you. We hope to hear from you soon! 978-741-1170
