Great day on the Big Island

It was a great day and Zoe our guide was a lot of fun. She was prepared for everything. When it rained, she had lightweight jackets. When the rain stopped she had towels. She had flashlights for the lava tubes and warm damp towels after dinner.

Zoe was a great guide, she kept us well informed along the trip and was well prepared for the change of weather! The sites were great and Zoe kept us entertained the entire trip. I would definitely recommend this excursion, I really enjoyed the volcanos, my wife enjoyed the waterfall.

Aloha Fred, Thank you for your review. PJ is a customer service manager's dream. He has everything that you could possibly need to have the perfect day on tour. Christopher is a long-time Big Island resident, a group guide and just happened to be on tour with PJ that day. It's great when guides cross-train and learn from each other while the guests reap the rewards of having two guides. Thanks again for your review! Chris

A fun day of coffee, wine, waterfalls, and volcanoes

We spent the day with Zoe from Kailani tours. We were picked up exactly on time and spent the next 12 hours seeing and learning a lot about the Big Island, including tons of funny and interesting anecdotes and local legends. Zoe was awesome and really went out of her way to take care of everyone on the tour. Even pushing one lady up a hill on her motorized scooter that wouldn't go up steep slopes.

Aloha Barry, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. The legend of the scooter! We weren't aware that a scooter would join us on tour but heard that you all had a great day and that Zoe helped "power through" a great tour. She's a Rock Star and we're lucky to have her. Mahalo, Chris

Ellie was our tour guide and she was GREAT! It was such a pleasant and educational tour. We saw all the tourism places on the big island, volcano, waterfall, and a lot more. Definitely recommended!

Aloha Will, Thank you for your review. Ellie has been a long time resident on the Big Island. She's absolutely thrilled to meet her guests on tour and show them her favorite places. Guests love the Big Island Circle Tour because they get to see it all in one day - coffee, waterfalls, turtles, the black sand beach, the volcano and all points in between. Mahalo Nui, Chris

great tour guide, awesome lunch. but we missed seeing Akaka Falls. very knowledgeable on the history and forelore!

Aloha Kim, Thank you for the review. We're not used to four star reviews, but that will keep us working to earn that fifth star. Although Akaka Falls is not on the itinerary, we occasionally have time to squeeze it in. Other than that, it sounds like it was a great day. Mahalo for taking the time to write a review and let us know when you are back on island. Mahalo Nui Loa, Chris
