Captain Chad was the perfect guide for this excursion, very knowledgeable about Hawaiian history. My 15 year old will never forget her reef shark encounter while snorkeling! Well worth the time and money.
Great experience overall.

Chase was a great Captain. He made sure we had a great time. The ride out to Cook monument was very rough and bumpy though. It was a smal group of 6. We did see a lot of marine life snorkeling.

Snorekling, Touring and Swimming with the Dolphins all in one.

We were on the big island of Hawaii and wanted to go snorkeling at the Captain Cook area. I made the reservation on line and it was very easy. The day before the trip they called to confirm to make sure we knew we would be going in a Zodiac and not a large boat. Our captain was Landon and he was very nice and knowledgeable. He took us on a tour of the coastline and two of us swam with the dolphins before reaching the captain cook area. Overall we had a great time.
Welcoming staff but average snorkelling

Murphy and Roger?? were welcoming and new the area well also some great historic knowledge, the day we went out was a bit bumpy, a bit of a trip to the site, seen a few reef fish and coral, unfortunately no dolphins were seen, a quick visit on way back to look at sea caves
Good Times

The boat is akin to a speedboat so the ride out is a bit bumpy but fun. We had to turn around because one of the passages was too scared to continue. so if your scared of a boat then don't book this. Otherwise the trip, snacks, crew and the experience was top notch. Great trip at a reasonable price.
Just keep swimming

Awesome tour! Accommodate smaller tours so you’re stuck with a ton of people on a crowded boat. Murphy great, the fish showed up too.

Amaazing snorkel adventure with a true ocean voyager!

Captain Tim was a charismatic guide who told us the history and geological background of kealakekua bay and other spots along the way. He knew his stuff! Had a great time with my sons. The coral reef was teeming with marine life. Huge porcupine fish, grouper, various parrotfishes chomping down on coral... Incredible! I could have snorkeled there for days. Please book with these guys! Worth it all the way brah!

Awesome awesome awesome. With only four of us on the boat it was easy to connect with our guides and get guidance, especially since it was our first time snorkeling. Our guide gave us the chance to get ahead and see the dolphins several times which was a spectacular view. There needed to be a bit more clarification on who to meet to start the tour but otherwise it was great.
