This activity will end right where it started.
Meet your guide in central Belfast and soak up the scenery on the drive through the Glens of Antrim. After a short stop for photos at Carrickfergus Castle, continue along the rugged Antrim Coast to reach the first stop of the day – the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

Brave a walk across the historic rope bridge (March-Oct only; extra cost), which passes 100ft (30m) over the Atlantic Ocean and connects the coastal cliffs of Northern Ireland to Carrick-a-Rede Island.

Next, enjoy free time to explore the Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage site. Snap photos of the extraordinary natural wonder as you clamber over its unusual basalt columns and look out over the windswept coast. Be sure to ask your guide how the Giant’s Causeway got its name too – Irish mythology tells stories of a giant named Finn MacCool.

After strolling along the Giant’s Causeway, stop for lunch at one of the coastal restaurants (own expense), before starting the journey back to Belfast. Along the way, stop to roam the ruins of the seafront Dunluce Castle, and hear how the medieval castle was used as a filming location for Game of Thrones.

After an action-packed day, end your tour back in central Belfast.

Nice trip, just don't expect to go on the rope bridge

Nice trip, however there was supposed to be a stop for the rope bridge which we were looking forward to as the best part of the trip. The bridge was closed to coach traffic (our coach) , yet according to your brochures it is iincluded . This should be removed from your advertisement.

Good tour guide/driver, highly knowledgeable and also funny and witty, knew how to entertain busload of people. Recommend the trip. As a disclaimer though, carrick-o-rede rope bridge is currently closed to tour groups. Still recommend booking with the company Irish Coach Tours though, was a great day out.

Great experience with Stuart our driver and guide. Well planned stops and regular bathroom/refreshment stops. Lots of info, stories, local knowledge and Irish humour. What’s not to love. Bonus was the shuttle bus up and down to the causeway which could have been demanding in the heatwave. ☘️

A GIANT OF AN ADVENTURE

The Tour was a wonderful experience. Right from the first stop at Carrickfergus to the last one at Grejoy's (GoT) castle, every place was breathtaking. The Giant's Causeway was the greatest of 'em all - absolutely picturesque and a photographer's dream! The drive was quite comfortable and the driver, doubling up as tour guide, was commendable. He, for sure, has a superb sense of humour. Which is what made the history attached to the places along the tour quite interesting. The tour is worth every penny, and I am of the view that every visitor to Ireland should embark on the Giant's Causeway trip.

Giants causeway was amazing! Our guide galven and driver Andrew were so fun and informative. Would do it a thousand times over. Note to tourist: our tour was less then 100 dollars for my wife and I to see the Atlantic Coast way along with some game of thrones stops before giant causeway. A cab would have been 150 one way. Do this tour! Request galvin and Andrew if possible.

The Giants Causeway, unspoilt and magnificent

Outstanding day, largely thanks to our excellent driver and guide, Stuart. The Giants Causeway was our main focus but Stuart certainly brought the other venues on the tour to life. The lunch stop was exactly what we needed and Stuart ensured that there were multiple opportunities for comfort breaks along the way. We would certainly recommend this tour to others. Thank you!

We were a little disappointed that some of the sites were closed by no fault of the tour company but they made up for it by adding GOT filming locations. Our driver was completely awesome!!

Excellent tour to choose for those wanting a few stops along the way to the giants causeway. It is a long day but kept well entertained by our guides the older fella and our driver the young guy (sorry, not the best at names). The drive and sights are stunning. Not a place to miss while in Northern Ireland.

This tour was excellent. We stopped off at various places like the Dark Hedges from Game of Thrones and others. The coastal drive was beautiful and the seaside towns along the way. We stopped at the Giants Causeway and had a guided tour on a beautiful summers day. The coach was air conditioned and spotlessly clean. Great driver and guide too.
