Storrm.. the Private tour Guide to use when in Banff!
Lorene_D
, May 2022
Storrm was a fabulous guide for our girls trip. We spent 10 hours hiking and sight seeing in and around Banff with Storrm. Storrm put together an amazing custom tour suited to our likes and abilities. I told him we love lakes and light hiking and he put together an awesome itinerary...we hiked across frozen Lake Louise' saw a mini avalanche, saw frozen waterfalls...much wildlife and ate lunch at a quaint place Truffle Pigs Bistro in Field BC (vegan beet burger to die for)and saw so many Lakes we lost count. Not only did we get a history tour of the Lodge at Lake Louise we got a mini tour. He was knowledgeable about all things Canadian Rockies and just a delight to spend the day with. He is experienced Hiker, Climber, Camper and so much more and loves sharing his love for the Canadian Rockies. Being in a 4 wheeled drive vehicle allowed us to go places a tour bus could not get to. He is the guide you should use if in Banff. He knew when we just wanted to sit and take in the scenary and did not rush us to the next stop. He just made our empty nest girls trip more fun then we could imagine. The day was long but we just loved every minute of it and since we did this day one of 5 we just kept comparing our other days to our experience on Day 1 with Storrm. Nothing neadured up. I highly recommend you use him as your tour guide as on his tour you can cover more sights, his passion for his job and nature is so infectious you will fall in love with the Canadian Rockies like we did. We never got to use the snorkel on his car as April is in between Summer and Winter and much was still frozen over. Next trip you can bet we will be booking Storrm and will be wanting to ride through some river beds to test that thing out.!!
