We really love the trip! There is no way you can enjoy Camargue without a car. And sitting in a car with a open roof is really cool! We saw a lot of wild animals, including the flamingo! The guide is very experienced and well prepared. There is even a binocular and a bird guide book in the car, which is really enjoyable. The stop at the sea side town is very enjoyable as well - just feel it is too short!

Isabelle was a terrific guide; she knew her material and those back roads, and could show us the "good stuff". Her beautifully-accented Engish worked well in our mixed group of English-speakers (US, Australia, and UK). I really enjoyed it. Was disappointed when my Alpilles tour was cancelled (twice) but I managed an alternative day trip on my own, using public bus line.

An “English” tour in French

The guide was good and quite knowledgeable. But this was supposed to be a tour in ENGLISH. That is what it was advertised as, and that is what I signed up for. But the 3 others in the group were French people who did not speak English so the guide spoke French 90% of the time, and gave me short translations in English from time to time. At one point he talked to them in French for about five minutes, then turned to me to “translate“ and merely said, “The bulls are very dangerous.” I would have liked to get all the information the French people did. It was a bait and switch as far as I’m concerned. If you go, make sure you get what you’re paying for!

Dommage que le choix entre les deux circuits possibles ne se fassent pas lors de l’inscription en précisant les avantages et les inconvénients afin d’éviter toute frustration. Le choix m’a été un peu imposé par la famille qui était avec moi en raison de l’état de santé du grand père : il fallait éviter tout circuit un peu « secouant» ce que j’ai regretté car un tel circuit signifiait d’entrer dans une nature sauvage

On a eut un très belle visite de la Camargue, avec Michel qui connait tres bien la region et qui nous a fait partager sa passion. Il a vraiment essayé de trouver des coins pour qu'on puisse voir des flamand roses (qui semblaient s'etre cachés ce jour là).
