3 Days in the Romantic Valladolid in a 3 Star Hotel
The colonial charm and natural beauty of the cenotes of this magical town called Valladolid, are one of the great reasons to get away and enjoy a few days in this quiet and beautiful town.
Valladolid is one of the two magical towns that the state of Yucatán has and is known for its history and colonial atmosphere, as well as the presence of the Mayan culture; it is enough to see the architecture of each one of its constructions to delve into its history and feel connected with culture and tradition.
The town is relatively small and you can cross it very easily. In the center, the first thing you will see is the cathedral, the park with its fountain, shops and small restaurants. Strolling through the park and eating a marquesita is something that you must do almost in a compulsory way. While there, ask about the turibus that takes you around the main points of the town.

Chichen Itzá, cenote and Valladolid - Small group day tour from Playa del Carmen
3
Recently selected as one of the New World Wonders, Chichen Itza is without a doubt one of the most spectacular and important archeological sites of the Yucatan peninsula and Mesoamerica. The Maya-Toltec style; which can be appreciated in Chichen Itza is the result of the cultural exchange between the different cultures of Mesoamerica. The excellent restoration of this ancient city makes it an absolute “must-see” destination for any visitor to the Yucatan peninsula interested in history and culture.
After visiting Chichen Itza we cool off in an impressive cenote (flooded cave) where nature and mysticism will bring you to a whole new dimension.
Valladolid is a city where past and present come together to delight us with astounding sights of beautifully colored colonial architecture and tastes of an incredibly rich gastronomy.
