Embark on an adventurous and unique marine wildlife tour around the islands off the southwest coast of Scotland. This tour takes you out onto the water in search of common seals, grey seals, golden eagles, porpoise, and white tailed sea eagles and passes through the Gulf of Corryvreckan, home to the world's third largest whirlpool.
The Rib is a modern boat as is all the safety equipment and is tested annually in accordance with the MCA standards. The waterproofs are regularly laundered for passenger comfort and additional warm/dry clothing is carried on board. The Skipper holds a commercial endorsement and all the necessary certificates to carry fare paying passengers and passenger safety is paramount. Jura has a wealth of Wildlife including some 6000 Red Deer, Goats, Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, Dolphins, Porpoise, Seals, Otters and occasionally Minke Whales. There is a choice of 4 set tours and one in particular offers passengers to cover every mile of coastline on the Circumnavigation tour and passengers can also private hire if they desire.
Get up close and personal with several Clyde lighthouses including Gantocks, Cloch Point & Toward For a longer trip why not add a visit to Stevenson’s beautiful Little Cumbrae lighthouse where you can step off onto the uninhabited island and enjoy stunning views as you explore the second oldest lighthouse in Scotland.
