The Devil's Porridge Museum Tours

The award-winning Devil’s Porridge Museum pays homage to HM Factory Gretna, also known as the Greatest Munitions Factory on Earth. Experience the work of this important wartime site with interactive exhibits and virtual reality headsets, and learn about the history of this area of Scotland.
Situated near the Anglo-Scottish border, The Devil’s Porridge Museum commemorates the history of the HM Factory Gretna, which was the largest munitions factory in the world during World War I, employing nearly 12,000 young women, who mixed the volatile paste that filled munitions.
