Lake Shikotsu & Lake Toya National Park Private Day Trip

This is a full day trip to Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya from Sapporo.
Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya are a part of Shikotsu-Toya National Park and a picturesque crater lake with famous hot spring resort.
First, we'll drive to Lake Shikotsu, and visit visitor center to learn about the National Park. After the short hike along the lake shore, we'll take a short walk at Bifue Kyoboku-no mori ( Virgin forest in Bifue)
W'll then visit Lake Toya, famous caldera lake. After having a lunch at the local restaurant, we'll take a cable car to go up Mt.Usu to see a crater.

Mount Tarumae Hiking Day Trip
Your journey begins with a one hour and 30 minutes drive to Lake Shikotsu, a beautiful caldera lake.
After the quick stay at the lake shore, it's a short drive to the 7th station of Mt.Tarumae where the hike begin.
Trail is well-maintained but steep! It takes about one hour to reach the top of crater rim.
Once at the peak, directly in front of you lies the lava dome.
The views towards the lake below are spectacular, and on a clear day you can see Mt. Yotei and pacific ocean.
We can stop by onsen hot spring after the hike, please let us know in advance to our guide.
