Top San Miguel de Allende Wine Tastings

Visit two boutique vineyards near San Miguel de Allende on a half-day tour with wine and food tastings. At each winery you'll learn about their vineyards and wine production, then sample several wines paired with food. You can also tour the wine cellar and gardens, and check out locally produced olive oil and lavender.

The event will take place at one of the best local vineyards in the San Miguel de Allende area. The internationally award winning wine is exceptional and the staff is service oriented. The vineyard is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the Chateau is large with grandiose architecture and filled with exquisite art. After the tour and if all the group agree you can continue your journey by staying to dine at the vineyard's extravagant restaurant, or feel free to walk the grounds of the vineyard and take in the natural beauty of the landscape.

Come and make your own bottle of wine, we deliver all the materials! You will taste 2 wines straight from the barrel and you will carry out experiments with up to 3 different quantities to determine what percentages of each wine you like best for your bottle. Once the quantity of each wine has been determined, you fill your bottle, place the cork and print and affix the label. Wines to taste: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

To better connect those who stay here with the true spirit of San Miguel, we frequently host small experiential workshops. These may range from intricate crafts with resident artisans to salsa-making adventures that begin in the market, gathering fresh peppers and herbs alongside locals in the know.

Comienza tu recorrido visitando una finca Quesera, donde podrás descubrir el arte tradicional de la elaboración de quesos queretanos, donde conocerás desde cómo se obtiene la materia prima, su elaboración y añejamiento de los mismo hasta llegar a una degustación guiada para percibir sabores, olores y texturas. Continuaremos nuestro recorrido por la Finca Sala Vivé Freixent en México, donde bajaremos 25 metros de profundidad para conocer la cava más profunda de Latinoamérica, la fabricación de sus vinos y el envesado de estos, acompañado por una degustación y una copa de cristal de cortesía. Te cautivaras con la maravilla natural de la Peña de Bernal y su enigmático pueblo de San Sebastián, recorrerás las hermosas calles y mercados artesanales de Tequisquiapan dejándote cautivar por lo colorido y la calidez de nuestros pueblos mágicos. You will carry out sensory practices focused on smell through activities led by one of our experts, the main indications are to smell the aromas that we collect from different sources, try to identify them and get carried away in the dynamics, to finally taste some wines and manage to relate the aromas with which the wine owns and understand the provenance from them.

Our tours are curated with the intention of providing guests with intimate, local experiences. Get to know the boutique vineyards in the area and enjoy a truly personalized, VIP experience. Our unique approach provides visitors with historical context, along with information about the traditions and culture of wine in Mexico. In addition to David's deep knowledge of Mexican history and culture, he is also certified by the Asociación de Vitivinicultores de Querétaro, as a sensorial expert and provides guests with a unique wine tasting experience at the final destination. Our tours are aimed at supporting the communities and artisans where we live. We have intentionally partnered with some of the budding enterprises here in Querétaro, and pay all we work with a living wage along with gratuities. Tours and guided visits are offered in both English and Spanish.

Acerca del anifitrión: Soy una sommelier certificada con estudios en gastronomía, con más de 10 años trabajando en la industria culinaria. Me encanta dirigir catas a cerca de productos mexicanos para dar a conocer esta cultura. Que haremos: Prepárate para una experiencia gastronómica única, puedes escoger entre una cata de mezcal, tequila, cerveza o vino mexicano. Te explicaré sobre la historia de las bebidas mientras disfrutas una rica botana mexicana, haremos una cata guiada y ejercicios de aromas, te explicaré los mitos y realidades sobre el producto y podrás compararlo con hasta 3 tipos diferentes. Que trer: Mente abierta para degustar y disfrutar.

Enjoy a wine tourism experience guided by one of our experts where you will tour the exterior and interior of our facilities and learn about the history of our wine cellar, starting with a walk through the vineyard to learn about the cultivation of the vine plant and grape production, also go up to the viewpoint to visualize the landscape, then visit the production plant to learn about the Tres Raíces brand winemaking process and tour the amazing underground cellar, concluding in the tasting and medal area. To conclude the experience, you will carry out sensory exercises led by one of our experts by tasting 3 wines.
