The Basics

The area abounds with ways to enjoy the bay. Options range from sunset sails and brunch cruises to helicopter excursions—some tours provide overnight accommodation. Take a ferry to Angel Island State Park, Alcatraz Island, or the pretty town of Tiburon. Or, zip around San Francisco on a Segway, bike, or e-bike, stopping for bay photo ops. If you have time to spare, consider a regional tour to the redwoods, wine country, or Yosemite National Park.

The Perfect Blend: Napa and Sonoma Combo Wine Tour from San Francisco
Learned a lot from this trip. Tour guide is very friendly, the bus needs an upgrade though. The seats had no headrest, should have one for comfort and safety.

Straight to the Gate Access: San Francisco Bridge-to-Bridge Cruise
My boyfriend had never been to San Francisco so we did a weekend trip together and both wanted to do the boat tour. It was fantastic. Amazing views, good historical background to things we were seeing and friendly staff. The ship was clean too. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see the Bay from a new angle!

Straight to the Gate Access: San Francisco Bay Twilight or Sunset Cruise
Everything about this cruise was perfect. I’d read previous reviews and planned ahead to dress warm (ugg gloves, heavy coat, and a blanket.) I was fine without the blanket. The staff was very professional and friendly. The boat was super clean! The views were unlike anything I could imagine. It was my favorite thing that we did in San Francisco!

Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Full-Day Tour from San Francisco
Our driver was very kind and knowledgeable! Bus was clean and had a restroom! All the wineries had great staff. Most importantly, I was able to nap on the drive back. I would definitely book again!

Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Full-Day Tour from San Francisco
Timely pick up, friendly welcome. Clean coach. Tour guide was brilliant really knew his wines too. The winery’s were small and welcoming with excellent tasting guides. Lunch stop in Samona with plenty of eateries to choose from (at own cost). There was no rush with plenty of time at each winery to taste and look round. Highly recommended.

San Francisco Super Saver: Muir Woods & Wine Country w/ optional Gourmet Lunch
Kimmy was our Tour Guide and she was excellent! She picked me up on time and was welcoming from the moment I boarded the bus. She was concerned about our safety and that remained her priority throughout the trip. I learned so much on the tour about San Francisco, Napa valley and Sonoma from Kimmy. The VIP luncheon was great and the atmosphere was warm and I was truly able to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend this tour…especially with Kimmy as the guide!!!

San Francisco Super Saver: Muir Woods & Wine Country w/ optional Gourmet Lunch
Our driver Ben was funny, efficient and accommodating. He gave us some historical overviews of the areas, and wineries we visited. We definitely enjoyed lunch at the Red Grape in Sonoma. Also enjoyed stopping under the Golden Gate Bridge to take in the bridge and city vistas.
