Practical Info

The museum is located on Riga’s famed Alberta iela, just a short walk from the Old Town. Entrance costs 6 euro from May 1 to September 30 and 3.50 euro from October 1 to April 30. Guided tours of the museum are available for 14.50 Euro or an audio guide is available for 7 Euro. Photography is welcome, and a shop sells souvenirs.

Amazing that 30% of all houses in the city centre are in Art Nouveau style (Jugendstill). It was a very interesting walk with Liga Vanaga, the most informed guide you can imagine! Worth the journey.

Stunning Art Nouveau Architecture Walk in Riga
I took this three hour tour while I was a solo traveler in Riga. I was provided a private tour with an expert tour guide. She was very knowledgeable of the architects and buildings' history. She came prepared with an iPad with photos and information on it. She was pleasant company for the three hours. I recommend her to other travelers.
