Life changing.
This was my second time on this tour and it was just as amazing as the first. Carlos provides nonstop amazing conversation and is extremely informative!! He's one of the sweetest people I've ever met. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and there was plenty of time to see everything! I'll definitely be going again the next time I come down to PV.

The tour was well organized and our guide was wonderful. We enjoyed the time spent with our guide learning about the gardens as well as the free time to wander around on our own. The tequila tasting was fabulous and the pours were quite plentiful. Lunch was very tasty.

Vallarta Botanical Garden and Tequila Tasting from Puerto Vallarta
So many memorable experiences!! From the start, our tour guide was so funny but also educational. The garden was BEAUTIFUL and worth the drive over. We were a small group, so we also had the opportunity to have a lesson on the production of chocolate and also coffee, samples as well. Lunch was good, and included. Definitely recommend.

Worth Your While

Vallarta Botanical Garden and Tequila Tasting from Puerto Vallarta
The tour was great! It involves stopping over at some nice shops along the way and the guide was even nice enough to give us a quick tour of downtown and the boardwalk area. The Botanical Garden was breathtaking and they sure don't mess around when it comes to the amount of tequila you will taste. You won't get to eat until the very end so I suggest carrying snacks. The biggest disappointment was the check in process. They could certainly improve on the communication front and our tour group stood outside their main office in the hot sun for over 30 mins waiting for the right shuttle.

Vallarta Botanical Garden and Tequila Tasting from Puerto Vallarta
This excursion was fantastic from start to finish! Van/mini-bus was comfortable and driving was safe. The pick up and drop off was really nice. Our guide, Carlos, had great energy and was very knowledgeable. He catered to our group and allowed for flexibility in the day. Never felt rushed nor idling too long. The short stops for coffee tasting and admiring a mountain village by a river before heading to the botanical gardens was a nice treat! Get this coffee frappe! The gardens are breath taking and even when it was pouring rain there are plenty of covered gardens and lunge areas to enjoy. Or the rain is warm and refreshing so we didn’t mind getting a little wet! Fun bar and restaurant upstairs from the shop there at the gardens to enjoy some chips and guac and a cocktail to tide over before lunch and appreciate a good thunderstorm. We head out then to the lunch and tequila place! We ordered our food and then went to do our tasting. The tequilas and liqueurs there are phenomenal and our host was so fun! Very interesting to learn about the process (and politics) behind tequila. Good was alright, but the setting and live music made the whole lunch experience lovely. You absolutely must do this tour!

Vallarta Botanical Garden and Tequila Tasting from Puerto Vallarta
This was the best excursion tour I have ever attended in my life. Carlos was an exceptional knowledgeable guide! Right down to the plants, the birds, the wildlife, Mexican culture, symbolism, best beaches, roads, and food! He even was our guide for tequila tasting! We learned so much! This trip is a must do! Pick up and drop off on time, price was great! It includes lunch and all the tequila shots you can manage! Whoa! So fun! Live music! Thank you Carlos!❤️

Vallarta Botanical Garden and Tequila Tasting from Puerto Vallarta
Jorge was the most wonderful guide! We were so impressed with his knowledge of Puerto Vallarta and enjoyed his enthusiasm for his macaw boxes and all the plants/flowers at the garden. The botanical gardens were gorgeous and we loved the tequila tour! The food was excellent and loved learning “tequila yoga.” Highly recommend this tour! We also had 2 little ones (6mo and 2.5) with us and everyone was very accommodating!
