The Basics

Walk upstream from the river’s outlet along the Columbia River Highway to see Lower Oneonta Falls, Upper Oneonta Falls, and Triple Falls. You can also hike down Horsetail Falls Trail to the bridge crossing over Oneonta Creek, which provides views of Middle Oneonta Falls.

Columbia River Gorge tours sometimes include a visit to Oneonta Gorge along with Multnomah Falls, Bonneville Dam, and Beacon Rock. Some combination tours combine a Columbia River Gorge visit with a hop-on hop-off tour of Portland.

Great group, Great settings, Great Everything

Columbia River Gorge Tour
Amazing. Took my 14 year old daughter and even she managed to keep up! The biking itself was freeing. Breath taking views, the wind kissing your skin. The hikes were more challenging, but I’m sure any average person could make it. Our tour guide, Jay, was awesome. He took pictures for us, and checked up on all of us—while hiking and riding, and hyped us up while we were biking. It was nice to see someone so excited about their job and nature. He also was knowledgeable of the surroundings.

Columbia River Gorge Tour
We loved our tour! Jay was a wonderful guide and really let the group go at our own pace. The activity level wasn't crazy by any means but we were still pooped by the end of the day! The gorge is always beautiful but seeing it by bike makes it next level.

Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood Tour - Full Day
Our guide TJ was amazing. Knowledgeable, courteous, with a great sense of humor. He took us to several small stops not on the itinerary to give us a better understanding of the area around the gorge and Mt Hood. If you only have time for one tour while in the Portland area this should be the one you take. As a 5th generation Oregonian JT has a true sense of the history of the region.

Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood Tour - Full Day
TJ, with Infinite Oregon Tours, was our tour guide and we can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. His tour skills and the overall tour to the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood were top! We had a full day with a wonderful narrative of local history, great picture taking opportunities, and felt welcomed and safe the entire day. We do hope to return to this wonderful part of the country and when we do we will be seeking TJ for more tour experiences.

Great tour! You begin at the top of a mountain and travel in one direction stopping every 1 to 3 miles at waterfalls and other points of interest along the way. Incredible views and plenty of opportunities for hiking! The weather was in the 90s but it never felt hot with all the shade. Loved our tour guide Scotland, who was super knowledgeable, personable, and funny! Would definitely do it again!
