This morning we'll head to Assisi to visit the old town and the Franciscan places: Basilica di San Francesco, Chiesa di Santa Chiara, Piazza del Comune, Cattedrale di San Rufino. The extra virgin olive oil is probably the most significant product among the delights of Umbrian gastronomy, made of simple, genuine and savory food. After the visit of Assisi, we'll visit a renowned oil mill where we'll learn about the production process of olive oil, from cultivation, to harvesting, pressing and usage, and we will taste it. Later, we'll have a delicious Umbrian lunch at a restaurant, drinks included. In the afternoon we'll visit the nature surrounding Assisi and Mount Subasio by quad. Few can resist the temptation to return after having tried it only once. Its versatility makes it a fun means of travel on any terrain: mud, stones, water. The quad doesn't ask for more!
