The basics

The Tennoji Zoo is divided into four themed areas, or zones: the African Savanna, Asian Tropical Rainforest, Aviary, and Petting Zoo. Several animal exhibits have scheduled feeding times where guests can watch as zookeepers interact with the animals while learning more about their natural behaviors and environments. Plan to spend some time before or after your zoo visit enjoying the surrounding Tennoji Park.
