Ko Olina

92-100 Waipahe Pl, Oahu, Hawaii

The Basics

Stay at one of Ko Olina’s waterfront resorts or visit for a day. All four man-made lagoons offer a relaxing place to swim, free of rocks or waves, with its own atmosphere. Beach chairs crowded with resort guests line Lagoon One, while Lagoons Two and Three offer more laid-back vibes with fewer crowds. Independent visitors may find Lagoon Four the best option, since it is the only lagoon not backed by a resort.

Take to the sheltered waters for snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, and other water sports, or just relax on the beach. The planned community of Ko Olina also boasts a golf course, shopping, and waterfront restaurants. A broad walking path connects the activities, lagoons, and resorts, making it easy to explore the area on foot.

Great Day KoOlina Harbor

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel from Ko Olina
Awesome morning on the sail & snorkel. Crew was great, 22 people on the boat left lots of room and ease of operation for the crew. Boat was great, as was the gear… lots of fish to be scene as well as dolphins and turtles. Ko Olina harbor a great place to get away from the crowds. Thanks for Everything.

Fantastic Sailing Whale watching and Snorkeling

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel from Ko Olina
The morning sail and snorkel tour was really fantastic and made more so by the crew’s great hospitality and knowledge. They made each of feel special with individual attention. We spent extra time chasing the whales and had multiple sightings. The snorkeling was awesome - They took us out a ‘hole’ to try to get some turtle and white tip shark sightings. All in all a really chilled and memorable morning. Just what we were hoping for.

Lots of fish but no coral

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel from Ko Olina
The crew worked hard to make sure we had a good time. I was disappointed in the snorkeling compared to the Big Island but that’s not the crews fault.

Awesome crew, tasty food, saw an amazing amount of sea life! We're supposed to go to 2 sites, only went to 1. Check in was NOT in the store, and very confusing/total lack of signage/help.

We got to watch pods of spinner dolphins swimming around the boat and several of them were exhibiting mating behaviors. The absolute BEST was seeing the BABY dolphins swimming with moms!!

Dolphins and turtles

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel from Ko Olina
Great crew. They found a large pod of spinner dolphins and turtles. Our family of 5 had a great time. They limited the number of people to maximize the quality.

When to Get There

Set on Oahu’s west side, Ko Olina is an ideal place to catch the sunset. Additionally, its leeward location means the weather is drier than many of the island’s other resort areas, making it a popular destination year-round. If driving, arrive early in the day, as public parking is limited.
