Our Half Day Paradise begins at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, right where the Gardiner River converges with the mighty Yellowstone River. This trip is fun for the whole family! Ride the waves at Man-Eater Hole, Boonie’s Revenge and Sleeping Giant! Take in the breathtaking view of Devil’s Slide. Float through some flat water stretches that are great for swimming and relaxing. This trip is great for first time rafters or family groups with wide age and ability ranges. This trip is 8 miles on the river and can be up to 3 hours approximately depending on water levels (CFS).

Join us for an afternoon with dinner exploring Glacier National Park's Wild and Scenic border river, the Middle Fork Flathead. First, float a relaxing stretch of river through while you learn the paddle commands from your guide. As you start into the John Stevens Canyon you’ll run through 9 named rapids. This is a fun and splashy adventure through pristine, glacially fed waters! Next, your guide selects a secluded spot for a delicious dinner on the side of the river including steaks, chicken, hamburgers, or a vegetarian option. Our kitchen sources food locally and organically whenever possible. You’ll taste the difference! Our trips depart rain or shine. Dinner Trips are a 2:15p departure. No experience necessary. All guests must be able to fit an and buckle a 58" chest life jacket. July through September our minimum age is 5 and a minimum weight of 50 pounds. In June the minimum age may be slightly higher if river levels are higher but call our office and we’ll be happy to help.

If you're new to white water rafting trips, no worries, as you have four miles of relatively calm water to learn the paddle commands and how to paddle effectively as a team. Along the way there are incredible views into Glacier National Park's dramatic terrain. Once you get to John Stevens Canyon the river picks up speed and your adventure really begins. You'll need all of that practice from upstream to execute the commands in the white water. With rapids like Bonecrusher, Jaws and the Notch (to name a few) your crew is sure to have an exciting time.
