Moab's Best Kept Secret: Mini Narrows Cool Summer Hike
Likely to Sell OutLikely to Sell Out

Moab's Best Kept Secret: Mini Narrows Cool Summer Hike

"Super Fun!" is how our guests describe this hike and we whole heartedly agree. You think there is nothing else to Moab than the National Parks? Trust us, this hike will be as phenomenal as anything you do in the parks, or better! This is not your average run of the mill hike - this trail follows a creek and you're in it, with your feet wet and cool, from the moment you step down into the canyon! This tour is the shorter (4 hrs; around 3-4 miles) TripAdvisor/Viator version of our all day tour (6-7 hrs; 8 miles) that takes you to the waterfall. On this more accessible (though still very tiring!) version of the hike you will have a chance to experience this beloved remote canyon, and hike to a lovely spot where the canyon walls start to close around you before heading back. This is one of the last few remaining places in Moab that is still quiet and with very few people. This hike takes you through John Wayne country where his movies were filmed and most recently HBO's Westworld!

Westwater Canyon Full-Day Rafting Adventure from Moab
"Such an amazing experience! The team of guides we had were authentic and genuine (shout out to Katie, Greg, Lake, and Ethan); you can tell they truly enjoyed their job and their life. It was truly full service from pick up, drive to and from, rafting and LUNCH! I thought lunch would just be "here are some snacks," but it really was an actual lunch. The rapids were exciting and provided an adrenaline rush. The guides gave us safety tips and were clearly competent and confident if something were to happen. I was curious to see where the overall 'half' start came from and after reading other reviews, I could see why ppl might be bummed about their experience. That being said, I would recommend/suggest that you 'claim' a paddle boat if that is what you want. An option might be for Navtec to offer an optional upgrade to guarantee a spot in the paddle boats. Other reviewers mentioned no A/C (*eye roll), long drive (*eye roll*), and small rapids. Navtec can't control the rhythm of the rapids or the water levels, so I don't think they should be faulted for that. Overall, I would highly recommend, absolutely worth the price point, and I'm ready to do it again."..."

Moab Stand Up Paddleboarding: Splish and Splash Tour
"We had an amazing trip down the Colorado! Our guide, Ben, was really fantastic and did such a great job of making the trip fun and safe for all 4 members of our group. He was very knowledgable, a great teacher, and made sure we all had a blast. The only issue we had was that the Viator website listed this trip as including snacks, so we didn't bring any water with us. Once we got to our guide, he told us we needed water - he was awesome at helping us find the water, but it would've been easier to have just come prepared. All in all, it was super easy to book, super fun, and we are so glad that we did it!"..."

Day of Photography in Moab, Arches & Canyonlands
"I am a beginner when it comes to using anything more than a point and shoot camera. I enjoy photographing landscapes, and wanted to learn more. Colin provided some great pointers and helped me learn how to use my camera better and compose great shots of some incredible natural scenery. I would recommend coming prepared with an understanding of how to make certain basic camera adjustments to aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, at a minimum. There were also more seasoned photographers in the group and it seemed like they were getting a lot out of the experience as well in terms of Colin’s location scouting - I'd say it’s good for all levels. Generally speaking, if you have limited time, it’s also a good way to see some highlights of three parks within a single day (though due to time constraints, none involving extensive hiking, so I went back and did some of those on my own - e.g., Delicate Arch). It is a long day but well worth it - you certainly get your money’s worth. Highly recommend the night session as well. The stars were incredibly visible after dark with very little light pollution."..."
