Walt Disney Studios® Park Tours and Activities

Most visitors to Disneyland® Paris—Europe’s biggest theme park—make a beeline for the Disneyland® Park, but the adjoining Walt Disney Studios® Park offers even more shows, rides, and Disney®-themed fun, especially for movie fans. Designed like a Hollywood movie studio, the park has four distinct areas—Front Lot, Toon Studios, Production Courtyard, and Backlot.
The Basics
A variety of ticket options are available for Disneyland® Paris, including single-day and multi-day passes, hopper tickets that allow full access to both parks (Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park), and FASTPASS® tickets that offer skip-the-line entrance to the most popular rides and attractions. To ensure a hassle-free trip, prebook a one-way or round-trip transfer to Disneyland® Resort Paris from your Paris hotel or Charles de Gaulle airport.
Things to Know Before You Go
- It’s not possible to see everything on a day tour, so if you only have a one-day pass, plan your schedule carefully to ensure you don’t miss the shows, parades, and rides that most interest you.
- Be prepared to wait in line for up to two hours for popular rides at peak times, especially in the busiest months of July and August.
- Budget travelers can save on costs by bringing a refillable water bottle (drinking fountains are located around the park), a packed lunch, and snacks—eating out in the Disney® Village can be pricey.
- Families with young children can take advantage of the Baby Switch program, allowing one parent to wait with younger children while the other rides, then switching without having to re-queue for their turn.
- Walt Disney Studios® Park is wheelchair-accessible; priority access is offered to many rides and attractions; and full accessibility maps are available on the website.
- Wheelchairs and strollers are available for rent inside the park.
How to Get There
The Walt Disney Studios® Park is located at Disneyland® Paris, 20 miles (32 kilometers) east of Paris in the town of Marne-la-Vallée. The RER A train from central Paris takes around 40 minutes to reach the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, and regular shuttle buses run to and from Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports. Private transfers and taxis typically take around an hour, depending on traffic.
When to Get There
The Walt Disney Studios® Park is open daily all year, although opening times vary throughout the year, and some attractions are closed during low season. The busiest times are the summer and Christmas holidays, when it can get unbearably crowded and wait times can be long, but you will benefit from longer opening hours, more scheduled shows, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Those on a budget can take advantage of cheaper ticket prices and better deals by visiting in the low season (November to March) or midweek rather than weekends. For an extra dose of Disney® magic, visit during special events such as Halloween, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.
Movie Fun at Walt Disney Studios® Park
Walt Disney Studios® Park is devoted to unveiling the magic behind the movies. Visitors can take a studio tram tour, watch dazzling displays of stunts and special effects, learn how their favorite Disney® films were created, and meet iconic Disney® characters. There are also a number of thrilling rides, including such highlights as the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone® Tower of Terror, Ratatouille: The Ride, Flying Carpets Over Agrabah, and Toy Story Playland.
