Just 5 miles (8 kilometers) outside of Lincoln, Doddington Hall & Gardens is easiest to reach by car. Take the A46 Newark road or the A57 road, and follow the signs on the approach to Lincoln. On-site parking is free. Alternatively, travel by train to Newark Northgate station or Lincoln station, then hop in a taxi to Doddington Hall & Gardens.

Doddington Hall & Gardens is typically open on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, from 12pm to 4:30pm, between early April and late September. The various on-site shops and eateries are open daily.
