National Art Museum of China (NAMOC)

How to Get There
The National Art Museum of China is located in the Dongsi area of Beijing. Take subway line 5 or 6 to Dongsi Station (exit E) and walk west. A number of buses also stop nearby, including buses 58, 101, 103, 104, 108, 109, 112, and 128.
When to Get There
The National Art Museum of China is open daily from 9am to 5pm, except for Mondays (unless a legal holiday). Last admission is one hour before closing. Only 4,000 tickets are issued per day, so plan for an earlier arrival in the day to guarantee entry.
New National Art Museum of China Complex
Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the new complex is inspired by the simplicity of a “single brush stroke.” The new complex is expected to be the centerpiece of a new cultural district at Olympic Park and will be built on a 1,384,239-square-foot (128,600-square-meter) space next to the Bird’s Nest.
